Payment & Cancellation Policies
Deposits
Confirmation of booking will only be secured on payment of a minimum 30% non-refundable deposit.
BALANCING PAYMENTS
Balancing payments must be paid 8 weeks prior to play.
The relevant confirmations and vouchers will be issued on receipt of full payment.
100% of payment is required when a reservation is made within 8 weeks of arrival date.
A reservation will not be considered confirmed until such time as the deposit has been cleared and a Reservation Reference number and email confirmation is issued.
A reservation will also not be confirmed until such time as our company receives a returned signed copy of these terms and conditions by email, fax or post.
An initial deposit will be returned in the event that Golf Courses listed in the relevant Tour or suitable accommodation is not available.
Methods of Payment
Credit Card - MasterCard/Visa/American Express. MasterCard/Visa will incur a 3.5% handling fee, American Express will incur a 2.5% handling fee.
Debit Card – All debit cards will incur a 0.5% fee.
Bank Transfer – Bank details will be supplied on request.
Cancellation/Reduction in Numbers
A reduction in numbers (must be notified to Italian Golf Days in advance of the balancing payment being made) after confirmation of booking must be notified to Italian Golf Days prior to the balancing payment. Failure to comply with this condition will result in the client being held liable for the full green fees and other costs related to the trip.
Note: Normally, reduction in numbers falls within 1-4 persons. Any numbers greater than this are assessed individually.
Cancellations made after confirmation of booking will result in withholding the booking deposit paid.
Cancellation (after the balancing payment has been received) will result in Italian Golf Days withholding full payment.
If Italian Golf Days cancels a trip, all deposits and payments are refunded in full. There will be no refunds for unused or partially used portions of a booked itinerary due to flight delays, schedule changes, or any other reason. Administration fees will apply where changes/cancellations are made.
Alteration To Bookings Made
If, after confirmation of a booking, the client(s) require a complete change to the itinerary, this will be treated as a new booking and will incur administration fees accordingly. The fee will be based on the level of additional work incurred.
Missed Tee Times
Tee times missed due to weather are handled on an individual basis by each course and are not the responsibility of Italian Golf Days. In most cases, the course will work to reschedule your round. If rescheduling is not possible, only the course has the discretion to authorize a refund. Please send the course authorization to Italian Golf Days for processing.
Any refunds will incur administration charges.
Tee times missed for any other reason are the sole responsibility of the individual and not the golf club or Italian Golf Days.
Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is a collection of benefits and services designed to protect you in three key ways and minimize your loss in the event of unforeseen cancellation:

To get the most out of your travel insurance policy, it is recommended that you purchase your policy when booking your trip. We advise clients to talk to their insurance broker.
We strongly recommend that clients take out travel insurance.
Special Requests
Any special requests must be made at the time of booking.
All special requests are subject to availability, and we cannot guarantee they will be fulfilled.
If you or members of your group have a medical condition or disability that may affect your holiday, please let us know the full details in writing at the time of booking.
We will pass on the information to the relevant supplier to ensure they can accommodate any special needs.
Golf Course Condition and Bad Weather
We cannot be held responsible for actual playing conditions of the golf courses, whether caused by course maintenance or weather conditions.
We have a policy of requesting all maintenance schedules and, when advised, relay this information to our clients. However, these schedules can change depending on the weather and other factors as decided by the Golf Course Manager.
Golf played on temporary greens or tees is non-refundable and is an accepted part of playing golf during periods of bad weather.
We cannot be held responsible for the loss of tee times on the day of arrival or departure if caused by changes, delays, or cancellations of airlines. Claims should be submitted to your travel insurance company.
Complaints
If you have reason for a complaint, you should contact us immediately as it may be possible to resolve the issue straight away.
If you have a complaint after your golf holiday, it must be notified in writing to reservations@italiangolfdays.com within 21 days of the end of your holiday.
Italian Golf Days is responsible solely for the booking of accommodation, golf, and land travel arrangements upon the express condition and agreement that Italian Golf Days assumes and accepts no liability arising from any cause beyond its reasonable control.
This includes injury, loss, damage, accident, delay, irregularity, inconvenience, or expense arising from transportation, accommodations, or services provided. Italian Golf Days reserves the right to cancel an escorted trip or to modify any component, including but not limited to substitution of facilities in similar categories and/or modifying the price for any reason.
If Italian Golf Days cancels any escorted trip, all deposits and payments will be refunded in full. No credit will be allowed or refund given for any services provided in a published itinerary should such services be unused by a tour member.
Data Protection Statement
Please be assured that we have measures in place to protect the personal booking information held by us.
This information will be passed on to the relevant suppliers of your travel arrangements only.

Applicable Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Ireland.
